BC Tech Pilot

The BC PNP Tech Pilot is a program within the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) aimed at assisting the tech sector in attracting highly skilled international talent. This initiative supports employers in meeting their talent requirements by offering an expedited and permanent immigration pathway for in-demand foreign workers and international students.
Weekly invitations are extended to qualified registrants holding valid job offers in the 29 key technology occupations. The BC PNP Tech Pilot has been extended until June 2021, ensuring that B.C. tech employers can maintain their capacity to recruit and retain international talent, particularly when local skilled workers are not readily available.

International Graduate Category in the British Columbia Provincial Nomination Program (BC PNP)

An International Graduate is someone who has met the requirements for an eligible degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in British Columbia within the last two years.
It’s important to highlight that the BC PNP needs to receive the application within two years from the date specified on the final official transcript. Moreover, the International Graduate must have committed to a permanent, full-time job offer from a BC employer. The PNP program does not require International Graduates to have prior work experience.
